One called the other “You” and the other called “I” and then amongst them, there was a third. And when they were alone, they were one with the third one. In the night they lay down, one wrapped around the other, and the third was the space that remained between them.
When one added their parts together, they found that there were three. A head (1) and hands (2) and legs and what is between them (3). Together these made six; when divided between the two of them, there were three.
There were two: self and reflection, from bottom up, legs and what was between them (3) and hands the form wrapped around them (2) and head (1). And all of their parts together made twelve, so that for each of them, three for one, and three for the other.
